Help shape the conversation around production search systems, with a focus on agentic search in the LLM era. This opportunity is designed for engineers who can discuss how search quality, evaluation, system requirements, and optimization decisions play out in real-world products.
Key Responsibilities
- Share practical experience owning relevance or retrieval for systems used by real customers.
- Explain how you measured impact and evaluated improvements to search systems.
- Discuss systems you have built for agentic search.
- Describe how you scaled data infrastructure to support modern search experiences.
Qualifications
- Experience shipping production search systems, particularly agentic search systems.
- Strong understanding of the requirements and optimizations involved in LLM- and agent-enabled search.
- Ability to speak specifically about search-quality decisions, evaluation methods, tradeoffs, and lessons from real implementations.
Work Terms
- Remote, per-task engagement.
- The initial step is a 25-minute conversational interview with no coding exercise or take-home assignment.
- Selected candidates may be invited to a paid 30-minute live conversation with the team.
Compensation
- Per-task compensation range: $80 to $150.
- The follow-up live conversation pays $200 upon completion of the call.
