Software Engineer, AccessibilityThe Pro Accessibility Software Engineering team focuses on professional and educational use cases of Apple products to ensure that they are not only accessible but provide an exceptional experience for users with disabilities.At Apple we believe that technology is most powerful when it empowers everyone. Our team is seeking a Software Engineer to improve and enhance the accessibility of Apple products for all users, regardless of their abilities. The ideal candidate will be a motivated software engineer, eager to learn and contribute meaningfully to the lives of our users.Minimum QualificationsBachelor of Science in Computer Science3+ years of relevant work experienceExperience with at least one of the following languages and related development tools: Objective C, Swift, C++, or CAbility to create and understand maintain and perform Object-Oriented software designsPreferred QualificationsAbility to learn quickly and grapple with complex, critical codeUpbeat, adaptable, and results-oriented attitudeAptitude for independently learning new technologiesPassion for quality and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcitement to build software that makes a tangible difference in people's lives!Experience with Apple Accessibility APIs and/or Accessibility technologiesKnowledge of Apple framework technologiesPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $129,300 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.

Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
