AMT is currently seeking an experienced Software Specialist to deliver world-class support to our business unit customers. The Software Specialist bears primary responsibility for application development and programming, database administration, security implementation, and application change management.Opportunity to provide the technical expertise necessary to develop and implement complex manufacturing applications and industrial data analysisResponsibilities:Software architecture and design, including documentationCapture and analyze system requirementsDevelop, deploy, and manage C# Web APIsDesign and develop data-driven applicationsUsing and managing source control systems (Git)Database development administration (Oracle, SQLServer)Operating system administration (Windows, Powershell)Troubleshooting of database and reporting platformsImplement and manage software security and access control (SAML)Participate on many projects concurrently and with cross-functional teamsLead new technology initiatives in industrial applicationsTechnical Skills Required:C++C #.NETPythonSQL & relational databasesGIT, or other version control technologiesDesired Skills:Experience with historian and OPC clientsExperience supporting manufacturing operationsExperience with SCADA systems (FTOptix, Wonderware Archestra)- Highly desiredExperience with unified modeling language (UML)Experience with automated software regression testingOperational technology cybersecurity experienceSoft Skills Required:Ability to find the balance between adhering to formal processes, speedy development, qualityGood written and oral communication skillsStrong customer focus - ability to find incremental value in projectsDesired:Ability to find the balance between adhering to formal processes, speedy development, qualityEducation & Experience Required:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent industry experienceAdvanced Computer Science Degree5-10 years’ experience (flexible with years of experience) and will count internship as wellOpen to master’s degree and years of experience is flexible
