Full-Stack React.js DeveloperTexas Health and Human Services is seeking a talented and passionate Full-Stack React.js Developer with experience in Java to join our dynamic engineering team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining innovative web applications and services. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from front-end user interfaces to back-end APIs and data management. This is a hands-on role that will provide technical direction to team members in addition to their own development tasks.

A successful candidate will have hands-on experience programming Full-Stack ReactJS applications on enterprise platforms and cloud-based technologies. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.Candidate Skills and QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Years - Required/Preferred - Experience8 - Required - Experience in Java/J2EE Enterprise Development – (Core Java, JDBC, Spring Boot, and Angular, for example).8 - Required - Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or Jakarta EE.8 - Required - Experience working with databases (both relational and NoSQL) such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.8 - Required - Experience with Web-based user interface development using ReactJS.8 - Required - Demonstrable experience developing back-end applications and RESTful APIs using Java.8 - Required - Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services.8 - Required - Experience creating technical and functional design documentation.8 - Required - Experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong focus on React.js development.5 - Preferred - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.4 - Preferred - Experience working in an Agile development environment.4 - Preferred - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.4 - Preferred - Experience with CI/CD pipelines.4 - Preferred - Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) or static site generation (SSG) with React.4 - Preferred - Experience with GraphQL.4 - Preferred - Understanding of security best practices for web applications.3 - Preferred - Experience in building, supporting, maintaining, and monitoring mission critical business, applications/systems, running in highly distributed environments.2 - Preferred - Experience with Cosmos.2 - Preferred - Experience with Elastic Search.Work Hours and LocationServices shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The primary work location(s) will be at 701 W 51st Street, Austin, TX 78751.

The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework. Any and all travel, per diem, parking, and/or living expenses shall be at the Candidate's and/or Vendor's expense. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will provide pre-approved, written authorization for travel for any services to be performed away from the primary work location(s). Pre-approved travel expenses are limited to the rates and comply with the rules prescribed by the State of Texas for travel by its classified employees, including any requirement for original receipts.

The Candidate(s) may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested. Payment for work over 40 hours will be at the hourly rate quoted and must be coordinated and pre-approved through Texas Health and Human Services Commission.Required Skills: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Spring, JavaBasic Qualification:Additional Skills:This is a high PRIORITY requisition.
