Software Developer (Terdata)We are currently seeking a Software Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for developing complex requirements, enhancing, and maintaining applications within the Financial Crimes technology space to achieve business goals.
The developer will design, code, test, debug, and document programs, working closely with business partners to define system application requirements and recommend innovations that provide a competitive advantage.Responsibilities:Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and support activities for application maintenanceContribute to story refinement and define requirements, estimating the work necessary for deliveryPerform proof of concepts as needed to mitigate risk or implement new ideasSet up and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelinesHandle technical aspects of the application, including Change Management, Maintenance, and Platform UpgradesDemonstrate skills in data sourcing, data analysis, and modeling to build innovative data provisioning modelsAnalyze present-state, develop alternative future-state approaches, and facilitate implementationEffectively communicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables and timelinesRequirements:Typically requires 10+ years of applicable experienceExperience in Teradata 16.x, SQL/BTEQ scripting, TPT, and Informatica 10.
