Software Developer- Level 3 & 4Our organization is seeking Software Engineers for a mission-critical initiative focused on delivering scalable, secure, cloud-based software solutions. Selected candidates will perform full stack development within AWS-based infrastructure, contributing across the entire software development lifecycle. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy high-performance systems aligned with program objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy full stack applications within AWS cloud environments.Collaborate with systems engineers, software developers, and program stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.Contribute to system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.Develop and maintain backend services and frontend components.Integrate and manage relational database systems.Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.Build, expand, and maintain regression and automated test suites.Apply agile development principles to deliver incremental, high-quality software releases.Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, standards, and security requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.Foundational experience in Computer Science principles.Proficiency in Python.Proficiency in Java or JavaScript.Preferred QualificationsStrong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.Experience with relational databases.Experience with Agile software development methodologies.Experience with infrastructure tooling such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience developing and maintaining regression test suites.Experience supporting systems engineering or software development efforts for space-based or ground-based systems.Familiarity with cloud-native development within AWS environments.Work EnvironmentThis position supports highly sensitive national security programs and requires work in secure environments alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated pay range for this position is $70.00/hr to $108.00/hr.
