Job Responsibilities:
- Create new applications using our established Jupyter framework for web applications
- Maintain existing applications with any bug fixes and/or updates as needed
- Create new widgets to further enhance our capabilities
- Integrate and visualize experimental data when applicable into the applications
- Implement and maintain Python-based pipelines for data acquisition and workflow automation
- Collaborate with scientific stakeholders to refine requirements and iterate on prototypes
- Work with APIs, databases, and internal data pipelines
- Document code and workflows following internal best practices and quality standards
Skills:
- Authoring custom classes and subclassing objects
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with web applications
- Jupyter Notebook
- Jupyter widget or similar python based web application framework
- Microservices/API/REST
- Python.
- RDKit
Education/Experience:
- BA with 5+ years exp
- Master in computer science or related field
