Role: Software Developer (C# / .NET)

Hire Type: Full Time (Direct Placement)

Work Location: Charleston, SC (on site 5 days per week)

Salary Range: 100K - 130K

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in C# / .NET development
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (additional years of experience can substitute a degree)
• Experience with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL

Overview:

Insight Global is hiring a C# .NET Developer with a Top Secret clearance to join a mission critical program in Charleston, SC. This role is focused on re-engineering and doing new feature development for an application that currently resides on a Windows OS server infrastructure but must be moved to a RHEL based system within the next 2 years. If you have 4+ years of experience in C# and .NET development with both web and server based applications, then this would be an exciting role contributing to the readiness of the US Military and a great fit for you.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain software with C# and C++ for Windows platforms.
• Develop software with C# for Linux/Unix platforms.
• Use ASP.NET to implement web frontend.
• Collaborate on system architecture and contribute internal technical documentation.
• Gather, infer, and document requirements from internal product owners and external teams. Maintain and improve GitLab build pipeline as needed.
• Collaborate with a small development team to implement complex features and build/document shared system knowledge.
• Write SQL for database schema modification and queries.
• Write scripts in Bash (Linux/Unix; Red Hat and Debian preferred) and PowerShell (Windows).
• Code within compliance of current Information Assurance policies and instructions.
