Software Developer C++ - LP360 Desktop

We are looking for a Software Developer (C++ - Desktop GIS) to join a small, high-impact engineering team working on LP360, an industry-leading desktop platform for LiDAR and geospatial data processing. This is a full-stack desktop role where you will contribute across the application — from core data processing algorithms to user interface — in a product used worldwide for surveying, infrastructure, and drone-based mapping workflows.
What You Will Do
* Design and implement new features in the LP360 desktop application
* Maintain and improve stability (crash fixes, reliability)
* Optimize performance of key LiDAR data processing tools
* Contribute to UI/UX improvements (MFC/Codejock)
* Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams
Technical Environment
* Languages: C++, Python
* Frameworks: MFC, Codejock
* Build systems: MSBuild, CMake
Requirements
* 3-8 years of software development experience
* Experience with Windows desktop development
* Ability to work across UI and backend
* Strong debugging and performance skills
Nice to Have
* GIS, LiDAR, or 3D data experience
* Python scripting skills
