Software Developer 2Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ Months Client: State of TXDescription Of Services: Texas Parks and Wildlife Department requires the services of 1 Software Developer 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 2, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of a Process Automation Developer, hereafter referred to as Developer, who meets the general qualification of a Software Developer and the specifications outlined in this document for Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

This Power Automate Developer must have a strong, demonstratable background in automation and workflow development, with hands-on experience using Microsoft Power Automate, AI Builder and Power Apps. This developer is tasked with developing new and helping maintain existing process automation programs. These process automations are written in Microsoft Power Platform and includes technologies like Power Automate, AI Builder, Power Apps and other related technologies.

This developer should possess prior experience with Dataverse and have utilized Connectors for Oracle and SQL Server databases, along with a solid understanding of how real-time and analytical systems can work together. The key duties include development, and maintenance and helping TPWD set up, design, develop, and mature the process automation platform and capabilities at TPWD. This role involves analyzing requirements, developing automation software, and helping throughout the lifecycle, conducting unit testing, using and recommending best practices and producing documentation.

The developer needs to have a big picture understanding on how the various components work together and should provide guidance on how it could integrate with other TPWD processes and applications. In this role, the developer interprets project requirements and implements and maintains the components in Microsoft Power platform and other related technologies; works with business personnels to understand the requirements and determine optimal solutions; develops the process automation programs and provides afterhours support if needed.; works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs additional duties as assigned; complies with all Agency, Division, and Branch rules, regulations, and procedures.Candidate Skills And QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
