Software Asset Management ContractorWe are seeking an independent contractor to support day-to-day Software Asset Management (SAM) operations and application governance. This position will play a key role in reviewing software requests, managing service tickets, and supporting core SAM processes.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience2-5 years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Service Management, or a related IT operations roleExperience working within ServiceNow ITSMExposure to software governance or application portfolio management processesFamiliarity with software licensing concepts, contracts, and entitlementsStrong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and validate dataAbility to manage and prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced, operational environmentStrong communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with end users and stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teamsPrior work experience in the client's industryApplicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Experience with software catalog development and maintenanceKnowledge of ongoing improvement of SAM processes and toolsFamiliarity with enterprise software standardsDay-to-Day Responsibilities:Review end user software application requests to ensure alignment with enterprise standardsManage and respond to ServiceNow tickets related to software requests, access, licensing, and SAM inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolutionSupport software governance processes, including intake, evaluation, and routing of new software requestsContribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise software catalogSupport ongoing improvement of SAM processes and tools
