The Oak Hill School in San Anselmo, California seeks an experienced, motivated, and highly qualified individual to join its therapy staff. Oak Hill is a small, non-public school, serving students with autism and other developmental differences. Teachers lead and collaborate with a team of therapists, teaching assistants, parents, and outside professionals to design and implement a comprehensive educational program for a group of 6-12 students. We are looking for a therapist who has experience with classroom and individual students as well as an interest in community-based learning and instruction. The School Social Worker provides support to autistic and neurodivergent students and their families through direct service and consultation. Services include assistance with mental health concerns, behavioral concerns, consultation with teachers, parents, siblings, and other outside agencies as applicable. The School Social Worker is the point of contact for families within the Oak Hill School community for support when home, school, and community collaboration is the key to achieving student success in the transition from a school-based program to an adult program.
