Therapist Position
The Therapist position provides quality psychotherapeutic and discharge planning services to all patient populations and their families; provides assessment, group therapy, family work, and discharge planning; serves as a member of interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position.
Friends Hospital is the nation's oldest private psychiatric hospital, located on a beautiful 100-acre campus in Philadelphia, PA. Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults; and a private residential rehabilitation program. Friends Hospital is easily accessed via public transportation and has free, safe, on-site parking.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Social Services related field required. License not required but preferred. Able to provide LCSW supervision. Experience: 2 years of Clinical experience with prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population preferred.
