To support the development of innovative sports betting products, the fully remote Soccer Data Scientist will ideate, develop, and improve machine learning models while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance model performance and deployment. Key responsibilities Develop and refine machine learning and statistical models for sports betting applications Create contextualized feature sets using domain knowledge specific to soccer Analyze model performance and collaborate with engineering teams to deploy new models effectively Required qualifications Master's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field 2+ years of experience developing production-scale models for soccer or sports betting Expertise in Probability Theory, Machine Learning, and Bayesian Statistics 5+ years of experience delivering effective machine learning models in sports or sports betting Proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience in AWS environments
