The Monitoring Operator will cross train in Video Monitoring, Intrusion Detection, and False Alarms (FA). We are looking for a team member who is extremely efficient and wants to grow with us. This is an entry-level position located in-person in Charlotte, NC.Job ResponsibilitiesFunction as a point of contact for monitoring assets and performing security protocolsRespond to events and alarms through Video Monitoring, Intrusion Detection, and False Alarms (FA)Act on security alerts, including dispatch of local authorities when necessaryAble to handle life-saving situations utilizing event driven Artificial IntelligenceConduct online site guard tours and immediate response to panic alarmsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of, and adherence to, site protocolsMaintain accurate records of all incidents and prepare incident reports for any eventsPerform other duties as assignedExperience / RequirementsEntry-level position0-3 years' experience in the security industry preferred, but not requiredProficient in Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational skills with high attention to detailAbility to multitask and a strong work ethicExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other corporate team members and operational team membersPosition Type and ScheduleFull-Time (FT), hourly, non-exempt positionHiring for 2nd shift (middle) and 3rd shift (night) - open availability neededWork Environment and Physical DemandsExposure to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals or high-alert security issuesExposure to sensitive and confidential informationRegular computer usageFrequent sitting and standingCompany BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision plans.
