Senior Systems AnalystThe Senior Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for defining the strategy and creating the plan for execution of sunsetting legacy systems as they are no longer needed but the data still needs to be kept for regulatory purposes.Developing enterprise strategy for decommissioning applications and systemsResearching and understanding data retention requirements at both an organizational and state/federal government perspective for clinical, revenue, authorization/referral managed care, provider and end-user access/authorization dataDefining requirements for conversion of source data to archival destinationDeveloping a migration strategy to remove applications/databases, etc. from existing hardware for migration to another storage solution (Legacy data solution is primarily Informatica)Executing the migration strategy and overseeing the creation of access/views that may be needed for those who require access to new storage solutionWorking with the Business in developing and executing a deactivation process, including running down AR/closing out old business systems, etc.Providing input to the legacy system team as needed to support the decommission effortsSupporting the planning, requirements definition process, and analysis of legacy data for conversion programs and decommissioningDefines client needs and develops a plan and/or proposal for the technical delivery of the projectPreferred experience:Hands on experience in implementing End-to-End Enterprise Data Archival Solutions using one or more of Informatica Data archiving/ILM, IBM Optim, Solix CDP, SAP Archival, etc.Enterprise software development, application engineering, ETL process management, Data Modeling, Data warehouse, Data pipeline (ETL Tools) development and ETL Testing.Developing, supporting, and maintaining documentation and procedures as neededRelevant experience in a health care settingData Archival and RetirementProject Management - derive estimates, schedule, allocate work, manage tasks/projects, present status updates to IT and business leaders and be compliant with internal and regulatory standardsDemonstrated experience with requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of BI solutions (end-to-end)Communication and stakeholder management skillsKnowledge in various functionalities of Information Life cycle management & Data Archive Architecture conceptsCandidate should have worked with business and IT team to gather requirements & define the Data Archive solutions for Application Retirement, Decommissioning & Live Data Archival Solutions using one or more of the tools mentioned aboveImplementing Data Archival and/or Purging for Structured, Unstructured and Active archival and should be able to setup Data Retention policies, Data Backup and Recovery strategiesRequired Skills: Business Systems Analyst Hands on experience in implementing End-to-End Enterprise Data Archival Solutions using one or more of Informatica Data archiving/ILM, IBM Optim, Solix CDP, SAP Archival, etc. Enterprise software development, application engineering, ETL process management, Data Modeling, Data warehouse, Data pipeline (ETL Tools) development and ETL Testing.
