Man-Made Snow ProducerProduces man-made snow by performing the following duties. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Starts up and shuts down snowmaking guns and machines.Checks snowmaking machines and guns for snow production and quality.Moves and positions guns and hoses as needed.Repairs and maintains equipment as directed.Performs manual labor tasks as directed.Due to the many variables that affect winter resort operations, such as weather and number of guests, occasionally employees may be asked to perform other duties or assist in efforts outside their primary area of responsibility as needed, including performing in any subordinate position.This job has no supervisory responsibilities.To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; attends required staff meetings.Dependability – Follows instructions; responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; completes tasks on time.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
