Snowflake DBABachelors or master’s in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience3-4 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake Administration (AWS preferred but Azure is okay too)5+ Years of hand on DBA experience with MPP systems and large Data warehouses5+ years of scripting and automation experience using Shell / Perl / PythonProficiency in Snowflake platform Architecture, function/featureUnderstanding User/Data/Network SecurityAwareness of DB Optimization techniques pertinent to SnowflakeMonitoring, alerting of the Snowflake platformUnderstanding of data ingress & egress patterns between Snowflake & different CSPsProficiency in SQL and Procedural languages of any major RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Postgres or SQL ServerParticipating in on-call rotation & production supportWorking experience on MPP systems like – Netezza, Teradata, Greenplum, Hadoop etc.
