Snowflake Data ModelerLocation: Buffalo, NY (Remote)Job Description:7+ years of experience in data modeling with at least 4+ years working with SnowflakeStrong expertise in dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, third normal form (3NF), and denormalized structuresDesign and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models in Snowflake.Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/StudioTranslate business requirements into efficient and optimized data structures and schemas.Collaborate with data architects and data engineers to align models with ETL/ELT pipelines and integration strategies.Define and manage data modeling standards, naming conventions, and metadata documentation.Develop data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and data lineage artifacts.Ensure data models are optimized for performance, storage, and maintainability in the Snowflake environment.Understanding of Azure cloud platformsPartner with BI/Analytics teams to support reporting and dashboarding needs.Participate in data governance and data quality efforts across the organization.
