Senior Data Engineer
Duration: 9+ months Pay: $90 - 110/hr W2 Location: 100% REMOTE - East Coast U.S. only (Must reside in Eastern or Central Time Zone)
The Senior Data Engineer will partner directly with business stakeholders to design and deliver scalable data solutions that drive decision-making. Success in this role requires strong data engineering fundamentals, deep commercial pharma domain experience, and the ability to operate independently in a consulting-style environment.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- 7+ years of commercial pharmaceutical data domain experience
- 5+ years hands-on Snowflake production experience
- 2+ years production experience with Snowpark (Python)
- 2+ years experience building ELT pipelines directly in Snowflake (using Tasks, Streams, or Snowpipe)
- 5+ years experience in client-facing or consulting environments
Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable data pipelines supporting commercial pharma use cases
- Translate stakeholder needs into data models and analytical datasets
- Develop and maintain ELT pipelines across modern data platforms
- Partner with business teams across sales, marketing, and patient analytics
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with industry standards
- Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability
