SMT Operator/Programmer

SMT Machine OperatorProgram and operate SMT machine to properly pick, place, and solder electronic components onto printed circuit board assemblies. To proactively perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenances to achieve on-time customer delivery performance with zero defects while maintaining productivity and safety standards.Job Function:Program and run Mycronic pick and place machinesProgram and run Mycronic Jet PrinterAbility to program and set reflow ovenSetup and operate assigned production equipment while achieving goals for quality, efficiency, and productivityMonitor the operation of equipment to ensure that assemblies are built to print and in compliance with applicable workmanship standardsInspect printed solder paste and component alignment for accuracyUnderstand and identify defects in accordance with applicable workmanship standard and classPerform manual placement of SMT and PIH components when neededLoad feeders for equipment and wash boards as neededElectrical testing of assemblies as requiredInspect product using microscope, halo light, and X-Ray as requiredStenciling and screening of PCBs as requiredTroubleshooting the pick and place machine when issues occurSkills Required:Attention to details.Mycronic training / machine skills is a plusComputer skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job orders, specifications, drawings, schematics, process sheets, wiring diagrams, small print, and work instructionsKnowledge of 3D X-Ray is a plusComponent identification skillsRecognize and identify the different types of solder paste and their applicationsKnowledge of IPC-A-610 specification.Benefits:Very competitive wages401(k)401(k) profit sharingCompetitive to market health insuranceFlex spending account on some insurance plansPaid time offPaid gym membership
