If this sounds interesting to you, keep reading and let's talk.Compensation RangeHourly: $30.55 - $35.80 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This JobThe main purpose of this job is to assist specialists and internal partners across the market with calling activities, credit/portfolio requests, account management/maintenance, and community events.Essential FunctionsContact customers to retain and expand relationships using Consultative Selling approachExecute Credit/Portfolio tasks as required including, but not limited to: contacting customers for updated financial information and loan agreement compliance requirements, complete customer financial reporting requirements and loan covenant/provision compliance administration, and submit company and personal financial statementsFacilitate loan closings for Vehicle and Equipment loansFacilitate the resolution of customer maintenance/management tasks within the market, engaging product experts as neededParticipates in community and business functions/groups to ensure a positive image for the bank and to establish Centers of Influences (COI's)Review preliminary credit approval summariesEvaluate appraisal annual review requirements and coordinate service requestsSupport Specialists with prospecting, cross selling, business development and beginning to structure loansPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredIntermediate loan documentation knowledge including best practicesBasic credit analysis skillsStrong customer service skillsMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and OutlookEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience required1+ years banking/financial services experience requiredFor this position, federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history.
