Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Behavioral Health Phoenix, Arizona Contract

Location: Phoenix, AZ | School

Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language pathology support services to students in grades K–8 across one to two school campuses
• Implement treatment plans and therapy activities as directed by a supervising licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and the supervising SLP to support student communication goals

Required Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Speech and Language Pathology Assistant Certificate issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services
• Valid Fingerprint IVP Card required
• Must possess one of the following educational credentials: (a) AA Degree with an SLPA certificate from a junior college, (b) BS Degree in Speech and Hearing Science, or (c) BS Degree in another field plus an SLPA certificate from a junior college or university

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience working as an SLPA in a K–12 school setting
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
