Speech Language Pathologist

The position involves treating 8 to 10 patients daily. The work setting includes both acute inpatient and acute rehab. The candidate will cover various areas, including ICU, acute tower, and rehab unit. The schedule consists of four 10-hour days from 0730 to 1800. Travelers may work weekends and holidays as needed. Scrub colors must not match those of other departments and will be confirmed upon hire. Travelers should plan for 2 to 3 days of department-specific orientation. There will be a manager on each shift to provide support. Rehab aides will be available to assist in patient care. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. The unit guarantees 37 hours per week. Patients commonly treated include individuals post-stroke, pneumonia, and sepsis.
