Salary
$33.00 - $44.86 / hour

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate residents and establish individualized treatment plans
  • Provide speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing therapy services
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers
  • Participate in care planning and discharge planning activities
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional practice standards
  • Support positive clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction

Position Overview

  • As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans that address communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • You will work closely with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and families to maximize functional outcomes and improve quality of life.
  • Our SLPs are trusted clinical leaders who play a critical role in helping residents regain independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved program
  • State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Clinical Competence Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Current, valid CPR/BLS credential
  • Professional qualities of maturity, diplomacy, and teamwork
  • Verification of qualifications by the State Department of Health
  • Rehabilitation Therapies license number or certification number required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or higher level
