We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a Slitter Operator!Benefits of Working With Us:Competitive compensation including paid time off and holidays.Medical insurance (HDHP with HSA and PPO options)Prescription drug coverageDental and vision insurancePre-tax flexible spending account401(k) retirement savings with employer matchBasic and supplemental life and AD&D insuranceShort-term and long-term disability insurancePre-tax dependent care flexible spending accountWellness program with diabetes prevention, condition care, preventive care, and annual flu shot.Employee Assistance ProgramRequirements:1-2 years of Slitter operator experienceForklift experience requiredStrong mathematical ability – Working with fractions and decimalsThe ability to read and interpret charts, specifications, and production schedulesExperience using micrometer and calipersSolid computer skills, specifically OracleA detail-oriented natureDuties and Responsibilities:Maintaining a safe work environmentUsing measuring tools (micrometer and calipers) to check metal gage and roll diametersUsing computer-controlled equipment to monitor / operate lineWorking from drawings, work orders, specifications, instructions, and established methods and proceduresUsing a variety of material handling equipment such as powered fork-lift trucksSetting up separator blades to ensure proper "fan out" of metal and eliminate rolled edgesInterpreting drawings and specifications to plan setupsMaking repairs and adjustments to the equipment, referring major repairs to the maintenance personnelDetecting and reporting faulty operation, defective material and equipment, and all unusual conditions to proper supervisorMaintaining workplace in a neat and orderly conditionMaking out time and production reportsExperience entering production into systemAny additional responsibilities deemed necessary by leadershipPosition Details:Full TimeLocated in: Lancaster, PAShift: 3rd Shift 11pm - 7amWe are proud of our commitment to equal employment opportunity for all qualified job candidates and associates and ask that all associates support diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
