You will work with a variety of materials, including paper, plastic, and metal, to produce high-quality products for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience operating slitting machines and possess a strong attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate slitting machines according to job specifications- Load and unload materials onto machines- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency- Make adjustments to machines as needed to maintain production standards- Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary repairs- Keep accurate records of production and materials used- Maintain a clean and safe work environment- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisorsQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience operating slitting machines- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications- Proficient in basic math and measurement- Excellent attention to detail- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Strong communication and teamwork skills- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
