Job Description
Mancan Staffing is seeking a reliable and motivated PS Slitter Operator for a manufacturing opportunity in Hebron, Ohio!
This position is with an established manufacturing company that produces specialized plastic films and materials used across various industries. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a production environment, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly.
The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing experience, be mechanically inclined, and be willing to learn new processes and equipment.

Job Responsibilities
Support daily production by keeping machines supplied with necessary materials.
Prepare, organize, and move raw materials and finished products throughout the facility.
Assist with loading and unloading production materials.
Read and follow work orders to ensure materials are handled correctly.
Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
Accurately label, count, and document production materials.
Operate material-handling equipment, including forklifts and hoists, as trained and authorized.
Assist production operators with equipment preparation and general manufacturing tasks.
Package, stack, and organize finished products for storage or shipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Identify and report equipment concerns, damaged materials, or safety hazards.
Complete additional production-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
12 years of manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience.
Previous forklift experience is helpful.
Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
Basic computer and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
Comfortable working independently and with a team.
Willingness to learn new equipment and manufacturing procedures.

Additional Requirements
Must be available to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
Must be dependable and maintain consistent attendance.
Ability to perform physical work in a manufacturing setting.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
