To support the Veteran community, the full-time Sleep Medicine Physician will manage comprehensive sleep disorders and related medical conditions while providing direct patient care remotely, with a schedule of Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, and occasional weekends. Key responsibilities Manage comprehensive sleep disorders and related medical conditions, performing direct patient care as requested by the VHA Evaluate patients, order appropriate testing, and discuss management plans while ensuring timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Communicate effectively with Veteran's providers regarding sleep testing, follow-up, and management to ensure coordinated care Required qualifications Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a U.S. state or territory Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties
