Providing remote services, the full-time California Licensed Sleep Medicine Physician will evaluate and manage patients with sleep disorders, perform comprehensive outpatient services, and communicate test results and treatment plans while adhering to VA patient safety requirements. Key responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with sleep disorders through telehealth consultations and outpatient services Order and interpret sleep studies, ensuring timely communication of results to patients and providers Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain compliance with HIPAA and VA safety requirements Required qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia No history of restricted, suspended, revoked, denied, or voluntarily surrendered licensure Active DEA license Ability to pass a federal background investigation
