Description
The LARE Institute is a Private Occupational School branch of American Training with state, global, and industry-recognized certifications in Allied Health Care, Business, Trade and Education Programs. This award-winning center has been operating for more than 35 years and is licensed by the MA Division of Professional Licensure, Office of Private Occupational School Education. Essential Functions:
- Deliver Career Training Services curriculum including Job Exploration Counseling, Workplace Readiness Training, Work-Based Learning Experiences, Post-Secondary Exploration, and Self-Advocacy instruction.
- Develop and coordinate internships, employer partnerships, job tours, community-based learning experiences, and field trips.
- Maintain required documentation, attendance records, service plans, progress notes, and outcome tracking in compliance with MassAbility and program requirements.
- Collaborate with schools, families, employers, and community partners while representing American Training professionally and modeling its Mission and WOW! Magic.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in transition services, vocational rehabilitation, special education, disability services, or related fields preferred.
- Experience working with youth or young adults with disabilities preferred.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, satisfactory CORI, and appropriate insurance coverage required.
- Spanish-speaking preferred.
