Wet Painter Responsibilities:

- Perform advanced wet painting

- Prepare product prior to paint application

- Prepare paint equipment as required

- Paint product based on job instructions

- Make adjustments to paint machine as needed to maintain good quality and production

- Perform cross hatch paint adhesion test

- Check parts of paint booth for wear, malfunction, and replace as needed

- Set up paint, set up and adjust paint guns, and paint samples

- Perform required maintenance on paint equipment

- Assist in cleaning of paint booths

- Handle paint, paint related materials and hazardous wastes properly

Requirements for Wet Painter:

- Working knowledge of wet paint booth and knowledge of processes

- Ability to changeover color modules for paint booths

- Possess troubleshooting skills

- At least one year of previous painting experience

- Previous automotive experience is a plus
