Job Summary
Seeking an experienced painter with commercial, industrial, or residential experience to perform high-quality surface preparation, pressure washing, and painting in a secure facility while meeting project specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting.
- Pressure wash commercial, industrial, and residential structures.
- Patch drywall, wood, and concrete surfaces.
- Sand, scrape, caulk, tape, and prime surfaces.
- Apply paint, stains, sealers, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Operate airless sprayers and painting equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Follow project specifications and safety requirements.
- Perform work with minimal supervision while maintaining quality workmanship.
- 2+ years of commercial, industrial, or residential painting experience.
- Experience with pressure washing preferred.
- Knowledge of proper surface preparation techniques.
- Ability to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong attention to detail.
- MS Department of Corrections background check required.
- Must be eligible to work inside a secure correctional facility.
