Skilled CNC Lathe OperatorWe are seeking a Skilled CNC Lathe Operator with experience in setups, operation, and inspection of precision parts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, motivated, and capable of working with tight tolerances on short-run and production jobs.
Experience with lathes featuring live tooling, bar feeders, or sub-spindles is highly desirable.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC lathes (including live tooling, bar feeders, and sub-spindles).Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.Program, adjust, and optimize machine settings to produce precision parts.Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to improve efficiency and quality.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and quality standards.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Qualifications:Preferred: Ability to take a part from print to production.Minimum: Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn advanced machining skills.Experience with CNC lathes (multi-axis, live tooling, sub-spindle) strongly preferred.Familiarity with G-code, M-code, and CNC programming is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Schedule/Compensation:4x10 (4-day work week)Monday – Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PMDay shift onlyNo weekendsCompetitive pay based on experience.
