If you have a passion for progress, we want to hear from you!Reports To: General Superintendent / Superintendent/ ForemanPosition: Full timeProject Location: TBDJob Summary: The Skilled Labor operates non-drilling machines (Skid steer, excavator and front-end loader) and cranes. Provides assistance to the overall job operation (Including general labor support).Supervisory Responsibilities: NoneResponsibilities of this Position:Follow company safety protocol to ensure all work is conducted in a safe mannerCompletes daily equipment reports, and other paperwork as necessaryAssist in the day-to-day operations as need by the Project Superintendent / Project ForemanOperates one of the following:Skid steerConstruction forkliftConcrete pumpLoaderBackhoeExcavatorConduct general maintenance including oils check and refueling plantSolely responsible for the safe operation of their machineAssumes the responsibilities of a general laborer in their absenceRequirements:Current Valid driver license10 hour OSHA training – preferred2 YEARS OPERATOR Experience required /Certifications preferredWillingness to travelPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift and/or carry items weighing up to forty (40) poundsMust have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site in all types of weatherMust be able to stand and walk up to 12 hours per day in all weather conditions and noise levelsMay be required to work 12-hour shifts performing construction-based labor in varying temperature extremes and conditions.May on occasion, work up to 16 hours in a single shiftAbility to perform repetitive motion from operating hand and foot controls of the equipment.Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required of DOT medical certificationAble to mount and dismount equipment and maintain balanceMust be able to hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, as well as hear creaks, pings, and any other anomalies in equipment prior to, during or, after any lift or positioning of material/load.Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent requiredAbility to work independently and on a teamCompensation and benefits: Competitive salary; exact compensation commensurate with experience.Benefits offered: health insurance, life insurance, 401(k) plan with employer match, parental leave, tuition assistance, paid holidays and vacation.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.BAUER Foundation Corp. is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from all qualified individuals.
