Skilled LaborerThis role supports a precast and infrastructure manufacturing location that produces aluminum forms used by construction companies to pour concrete. As a skilled laborer, you work with hand and power tools, shape rebar, build and move concrete forms, and help maintain a clean and safe work site in a fast-paced production environment.ResponsibilitiesUse a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently to support daily production activities.Shape and prepare rebar according to specifications for use in precast concrete forms.Build aluminum boxes and other forms used for concrete pouring, following detailed instructions and measurements.Move and position forms and other heavy materials, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds as needed.Assist with general site clean-up to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.Follow all safety guidelines and use required personal protective equipment at all times.Support general labor and production tasks in an indoor/outdoor facility that resembles a construction site.Perform other duties and tasks as assigned to meet production goals and project timelines.Essential SkillsExperience using hand tools and power tools in a construction, manufacturing, or general labor environment.Ability to perform general labor tasks, including lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds.Familiarity with construction, concrete, or production work environments.Ability to work safely in an indoor/outdoor facility that resembles a construction site.Reliability to work day shift hours Monday through Friday, including 8–10 hour days.Attention to detail when shaping rebar and building concrete forms.Commitment to following safety protocols and wearing required protective equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience working for a construction, concrete, and/or precast company is preferred.General labor, construction, or production work is beneficial.Comfort working with concrete materials and related equipment.Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a production environment.Why Work Here?You join a stable organization that offers a consistent day shift schedule and a reliable workload, including regular overtime opportunities of roughly 10 hours per week. The schedule is a day shift starting at either 5:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m., running 8–10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with fairly regular half days on Saturdays. The employer provides a hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest, while you supply your own steel-toe footwear; additional met guards are provided. The environment is hands-on, physically active, and safety-focused, with standard construction-site attire and protective equipment required at all times.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buda, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
