Carpenter / Skilled LaborerWe are seeking a dependable Carpenter / Skilled Laborer to join our commercial and residential construction team. This position is ideal for someone with carpentry experience and a broad skill set across multiple trades. Work includes new construction, renovations, and repairs on both residential and commercial projects.Responsibilities:Perform rough and finish carpentry workAssist with and perform tasks across multiple trades, including drywall, painting, flooring, concrete, and minor electrical or plumbing (as permitted)Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work ordersFrame walls, floors, and roofsInstall doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and hardwareDemolition, site prep, and material handlingOperate hand and power tools safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe job siteWork with supervisors, subcontractors, and other crew members to complete projects on scheduleQualifications:Experience in carpentry and general constructionAbility to work across multiple trades with minimal supervisionKnowledge of construction tools, materials, and methodsBasic understanding of building codes and job site safetyAbility to follow instructions and work independently when requiredReliable transportation and valid driver's licenseAbility to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditionsPreferred (but not required):Experience in both commercial and residential constructionOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationAbility to lead helpers or apprenticesBenefits:Competitive pay based on experienceSteady, year-round workOpportunities for advancementPaid time off and holidays (if applicable)Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourSince 1966, Paul Davis has been an industry leader in the areas of property damage mitigation, reconstruction and remodeling.
