Skilled - CNC Operator

CNC OperatorWe are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined CNC Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Kenosha, WI. This position is responsible for operating CNC machining equipment, monitoring production, performing quality checks, and making basic machine adjustments to ensure parts are produced accurately and efficiently. This is a great direct hire opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.CNC Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirementsLoad and unload parts and raw materialsRead and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job specificationsMonitor machines during operation and make necessary adjustmentsPerform basic CNC offsets and machine adjustments as neededChange tooling and assist with basic machine setupsInspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirementsUse precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesIdentify machining or quality issues and notify appropriate personnelComplete required production and quality documentationPerform routine machine checks and maintain a clean, organized work areaFollow all company safety, quality, and production proceduresCNC Operator Requirements:Previous CNC machine operating or machining experience preferredExperience operating CNC mills and/or lathes is a plusAbility to read and understand basic blueprintsFamiliarity with calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring toolsAbility to make basic offsets and tooling adjustments preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to troubleshoot basic machining issuesComfortable working independently and as part of a manufacturing teamAbility to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing positionPreferred experience: CNC machine setup and operation, CNC milling or turning, blueprint reading, tool changes, machine offsets, precision measurement, quality inspection, manufacturing or machine shopQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
