This is a direct hire opportunity on 2nd shift.CNC Mill Machinist Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Set-up and/or operate machine or multiple machines as requiredWork with tight tolerances (+.001)Working knowledge of GD&TPerform complete set-ups for long and short-term productionRead, write, and edit G code programsAnalyze job orders, blueprints, specifications, and design data to calculate dimension, tool selection, and machine speedsWork with more complex toolingAccurately complete first and last piece inspection according to company procedureProvide assistance to co-workers as needed, in the spirit of teamwork, with the goal of meeting or exceeding customer requirementsSupport and promote the team environmentMeet and/or exceed all production and quality standardsAll other duties as assigned by supervisionCNC Mill Machinist Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentExperience reading and following blueprints and proven knowledge and usage of appropriate measuring devicesMinimum 5 years of machine operating experience (Okuma) or related experienceMinimum 3 years of reading, editing, and writing Fanuc controlsUsage of appropriate measuring devicesQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
