Details for the Carpenter position:
- $ 40-50 / Hour
- Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Fast Start Date
- Weekly Pay
- Interpret blueprints, plans, measurements, and specifications to determine layouts, dimensions, and materials
- Perform residential and commercial carpentry, including framing, structural work, finish carpentry, repairs, remodels, and general construction
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood, drywall, and other building materials with precision
- Build and install walls, floors, ceilings, roof systems, doors, windows, trim, cabinets, and stairs
- Safely operate hand and power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other jobsite equipment
- Inspect structures, identify damage or jobsite issues, and complete repairs using sound judgment
- Follow building codes, safety regulations, and project requirements while maintaining a clean, organized work area
- Work independently to complete high-quality projects accurately, on schedule, and in coordination with supervisors, clients, and other trades
- Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
- Completes any other related tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven Carpenter experience, journeyman level preferred
- Proficiency reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift heavy materials
- Experience working in indoor and outdoor settings
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Vocational training program completion preferred
- Formal apprenticeship completion preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
- Ability to stand, be on feet and move for the duration of the shift
