You will be responsible for ensuring the training onboarding for all new employees is well organized and executed. Other duties include:Develop, coordinate, and deliver training for contractor training, including training for TurnaroundsDevelop, coordinate, and deliver training for regular sitewide Face-to-Face trainings to maintain compliance with standards, to improve safety in the plant & to upskill our employeesOwn the organization & execution of Face-to-Face trainings plantwide & department specificDevelop and implement strategic initiatives to improve training & developmentOwn the Document Management System and Site Training RecordsDemonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety (Safety Leadership)Conduct risk assessments using appropriate tools (Take5!, Gembas, SAO's)Report all hazards, near misses, and incidents immediately, escalating as appropriateCoordinate the training and onboarding for all Dyno Nobel employees at the Cheyenne plantAid in the development of standard work & training checklists for all positionsEnsure the use of training tools, such as onboarding plans, training checklists, SOP's, PFD's,Develop and maintain a budget for training activitiesWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's Degree in a technical field preferred, but not required10+ Years' which includes:3 years (5+ years preferred) of experience in manufacturing or chemical plants3+ years (5+ years preferred) of experience in a training role Technical understanding of plant equipment, such as pumps, heat exchangers, valves, & control systems.Ability to build training strategy and programs from the ground upUnderstanding of Process Information, such as P&ID's, PFD's, & SOP's.Knowledge of all regulatory training requirements (OSHA, DOT)Knowledge & experience with using Continuous Improvement tools, such as problem solving.Ability to lead through others and develop team members through teaching & coaching.Strong organizational and communication skills both written & verbally.Ability to work some evening and weekend shifts requiredPositive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team playerWhat We Offer:Paid vacation + 12 paid holidays + PTO daysFull health benefits including employer HSA contributions + dental plan with an orthodontic option, wellness coaching availableMatching 401K up to 4%9/80 work schedule; ever other Friday off.Generous tuition reimbursement programGenerous paid parental leaveFriendly and supportive coworkersDyno Nobel is an equal employment opportunity employer and will give all qualified applicants consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national or ethnic origin, age, disability status, protected veteran status, genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law.
