CHST preferred
8+ yrs large EPC construction project exp.
The Site Safety Lead will be responsible for all site safety related functions on the utility scale energy storage construction project in Joseph City, Arizona.
They will be responsible for ensuring that all safety tasks are carried out, documenting the construction/safety process, lead morning safety meetings/inspections, ownership of lock-out tag-out, site safety training, safety orientations, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Overall site safety
- Responsible for overall safety related activities
- Responsible for LOTO, JSA’s, and other safety related items
- Implementation of QA/QC plan
- Responsible for the daily debrief, what each discipline is doing onsite, related safety risks and how to avoid them
- Responsible for tool box safety meetings on Tuesdays
- Maintain safety training records and safety documents
- Submittal of safety documents and approval of safety documents by an owner when required
- Inspection of worksite
- Participate in offsite inspection, if needed
- Implement safety plan, if needed
- Ensure adequate correction measures are xhqgsiq implemented in cases of noncompliance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Site Safety Lead on major construction projects(EPC)
- NFPA 70e
- Qualified hoisting and rigging experience, crane safety
- Power industry experience
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel and other basic computer skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
