Our highly trained staff is looking to add a dedicated onsite safety professional as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily safety meetings and conduct routine safety/health inspections; report findings weekly to the office.
- Conduct refresher training as needed (e.g., tools, lifts, confined space).
- Perform safety and occupational health management, include surveillance, inspections, and enforcement.
- Coordinate corrective actions with the EnviroVantage Site Superintendent.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of continuous construction industry safety experience supervising or managing general construction.
- Knowledge and experience with asbestos, excavation, and demolition.
- Experience managing a safety program or processes, conducting hazard analysis and developing controls.
- OSHA 30 and HAZWOPER 40 required.
- Previous experience as a safety representative on a construction site.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA , and EM385-1-1.
- CPR and First Aid certifications.
Working Environment / Physical Demands
- Must be able to perform tasks involving bending, lifting, walking, carrying, and using a force equal to lifting 50–100 pounds.
- Must pass a physical examination and a background check; ability to obtain access to military bases across the United States.
- A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record required.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $80,000 – $110,000 per year.
- Actual compensation based on experience, qualifications, and location.
