Site Operations Manager – AI Data Center

The role is open to candidates based in Georgia (Soperton/Atlanta area). Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Soperton/Atlanta area.

We are looking for a highly accountable and proactive Site Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our rapidly scaling AI Data Center and associated mining infrastructure in Georgia. As we transition and expand operations, you will be the "eyes and hands" on-site, ensuring 24/7 reliability, safety compliance, and operational excellence.

About Cango

Cango is a NYSE-listed company operating large-scale, energy-intensive computing sites across 14 U.S. states, with core strengths in power infrastructure, site operations, and operational reliability.

What You'll Do

  • Execute and improve SOPs and EOPs (Emergency Operating Procedures) to meet facility uptime targets
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of GPU servers, ASIC miners, switches, and cooling equipment
  • Supervise on-site technicians, manage shift schedules, and foster a safety-first culture
  • Serve as lead contact for emergencies — power outages, temperature alarms, network failures
  • Ensure site safety compliance (OSHA standards), maintain inventory accuracy, and deliver clear, transparent operational reports to HQ

What You\'re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in Data Center (IDC) or high-density computing facility operations; Fluent in English
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems (UPS, PDU, Switchgear), cooling systems, and network infrastructure (Fiber, SFP, Fortigate)
  • Experience managing SLAs, conducting predictive maintenance, and leading technical teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Soperton/Atlanta area
  • Strong ownership mindset — proactively investigates, escalates, and resolves issues rather than waiting for direction
  • High integrity and accountability — raises issues early rather than concealing them
  • Relentless drive to learn, with the discipline to follow SOPs precisely in a high-pressure environment

Why This Role

You’ll have real ownership of site operations, direct exposure to power and infrastructure execution, and a clear role in scaling operations across the U.S.
