The Site Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the site while maintaining a medium and long term view.
Daily Operations include:
- Oversight of incoming orders vs the production plan vs monthly electrical strategy.
- Management of EHS according to Imerys protocols and external legal requirements.
- Monitoring of customer order fulfilment, service levels, complaints and feedback.
- Oversight of Housekeeping, orderliness, cleanliness.
- Improvement and efficiency plans including I-cubed.
- Maintenance and Reliability. Manage CAPEX portfolio.
- Formulation and adherence to Budget; monthly overview of P+L financials and inventory/cash position, assist with variance explanations.
- Supply Chain of incoming critical raw materials and key consumables.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Environment, Health & Safety across the Site and ensuring safety best-in-class standards are achieved
- Directly manages all aspects of operations across the Site, including Environment, Health & Safety, production, planning, maintenance, warehousing, industrial projects / capex, process improvement, quality, energy consumption optimization and continuous improvement initiatives, in close coordination with Imerys CoE and BA CoE
- Ensures products are manufactured and delivered on schedule, and within quality standards and cost objectives
- Develops the Site industrial plan in coordination with Hub Director, BA CoE, BA Business Planning / SC VP
- Leads Site operations optimization to address competitiveness / demand requirements, including capex execution (debottlenecking, extension), flexibility and reduction of lead-times, productivity / energy consumption, maintenance, cost reduction / continuous improvement (I-Cube) programs, in coordination with Imerys / BA CoE
- Monitors critical raw material ordering, delivery, logistics, consumption and yields. Monitor losses and waste.
- Key interfaces: ensures effective coordination with Hub Operations Director, BA Business Planning / Supply Chain team, Imerys and BA CoE & Purchasing teams, BA Segments, and is supported by Finance & HR Business Partners
- Manages CAPEX project portfolio - with a balance of Sustaining and Development.

Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent (degree highly preferred)
- 10+ years experience in manufacturing management and an industrial production environment
