Base Pay Range

$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Lead to support daily lab animal vivarium operations within the Cambridge, MA area and serve as the on‑site ambassador of Mispro’s commitment to service, scientific partnership, and humane animal care. Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a small team of Animal Care Technicians (ACTs)
• Deliver and oversee high‑quality rodent husbandry & facility operations
• Maintain documentation, enforce SOPs, and ensure compliance
• Engage with clients and help onboard new partners
• Act as a trusted point of escalation and decision‑maker on‑site
• Support a strong, inclusive, energizing team culture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of vivarium operations experience
• ALAT required (LAT preferred; LATg/ILAM a plus!)
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards (AAALAC, federal, state/local)
• Ability to lead by example and make real‑time operational decisions
• Excellent communication, organization, and client partnership skills
• Experience in biotech, pharma, academic, or start‑up in vivo environments

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with preclinical techniques/disease models
• Science or Vet Tech degree (2‑year or 4‑year preferred)

Physical / Operational Requirements

Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and support weekend/holiday/emergency schedules when needed.
