Site Lead – Facility Operations
Responsibilities
- Oversee all personnel, hiring, discipline, and assessment of employees at the facilities, including implementation of policies and procedures of the Company.
- Responsible for performance of the facility, specifically uptime and production.
- Responsible for the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties.
- Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
- Monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability.
- Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines.
- Obtain and maintain certification to operate equipment such as forklift and personal lifts that are used regularly.
- Communicate with interdepartmental staff effectively.
- Communicate and manage relationships with third‑party partners and vendors as required for day‑to‑day operations.
- Protect sensitive and confidential information about the company and its clients, partners, and vendors.
- Regular use of ladders, step stools, power tools and hand tools on a project by project or task by task basis.
- Use internal software to track, record, communicate, diagnose and operate hardware or client‑owned hardware.
- Basic network troubleshooting, management and installation.
- Lifting up to 55 lbs: including moving miners and other equipment used to service miners, such as test benches, tools, pallets, etc.
- Comfortable operating electrical breakers up to 480 V.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A technical degree in information technology or equivalent certifications and job experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a critical infrastructure environment.
- Comfortable working with a team of technicians in a 24x7 operating environment.
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, plumbing, construction, security, and fire protection are preferred.
- Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance is desired but can be acquired.
Location
Goldsmith, Texas (on‑site), up to 10% travel.
