Site Engineering Director (DEFENSE)

We are representing an industry leading DEFENSE organization whose flagship manufacturing campus is actively seeking a Site Engineering Director. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this candidate would assume ownership over an 60+ employee department while working cross functionally with senior leadership. This is a 1200 employee campus.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Site Engineering Director will report to the VP/General Manager and will be responsible for leading a department of 60+ employees while assuming budgetary ownership.
• Drive departmental continuous improvement initiatives inclusive of yield improvement, and process optimization.
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues. xhqgsiq
• Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
• Work cross functionally, partnering with different internal departments including Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution of launch programs.
• Establish and track KPIs aligned with plant and business objectives
• Provide strategic input into the long-term engineering and business roadmap

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering/Technical degree is required for consideration
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years Engineering leadership experience for consideration
• Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is required
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others
