Forklift Operator (Sit-Down Hi-Lo)
Our client, an industry-leading automotive supplier, is seeking Forklift Operators (Sit-Down Hi-Lo) to join their dedicated team. As a Forklift Operator (Sit-Down Hi-Lo), you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting automotive manufacturing and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to safety, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Highland Park, MI
Pay Range: $19.00 – $19.60/hr (based on shift) + raises at 3 & 6 months
Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd shift opportunities | Mon- Friday OT on weekends
What's the Job?
- Operate sit-down hi-lo forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Transport and stage large automotive components such as front and rear fascias
- Perform wide turns and double stacking of materials to optimize space
- Load and unload products from trucks and staging racks
- Follow all safety procedures and site protocols to ensure a secure work environment
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 1 year of sit-down forklift experience
- Strong experience handling large or wide loads
- Ability to operate safely in tight spaces
- Comfortable working at heights when required (up to 15 ft with harness)
- Ability to work 10–12 hour shifts, including weekends
