The Simulation Operations Specialist works closely with the Simulation Program Manager and Nursing Clinical Educators to produce high-quality education activities. Minimum RequirementsEducation· High School DiplomaExperience· 6 months healthcare setting experience and/or technology experienceLicense/Registration/Certifications· Current American Heart Basic Life Support (obtain within 30 days of hire) Preferred RequirementsPreferred Education· Associate's Degree from an accredited college or technical school in a health or technology related field.Preferred Experience· 6 months simulation Center experiencePreferred License/Registration/Certifications· Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS)Core Job ResponsibilitiesOperates, maintains, and provides support for center equipment, audio/visual, computer, and materials related to simulation learning in the healthcare settingSupports/assists in role playing applications, props placement, and moulage set-up to create a virtual health care environment and experienceAssists with tours and simulation sessions for internal/external groups and/or individualsMaintains inventory of supplies and equipment needed for simulationAssist with scheduling for simulation and skills roomsMonitors cost-effective use of human and material resourcesAssists with data collection and generates utilization reports as requestedMaintains confidentialityEffective communication/interpersonal skills demonstrated during interaction with people of varying personalities, cultures, and professional disciplinesProficient using MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookOther duties as assigned
